About The Pipestave Hill Horse Trials
The West Newbury Riding and Driving Club has been running the Pipestave Hill Horse Trials since 1988. The Horse Trials are important fundraisers for the WNRDC. Funds raised by these events help to support one of the few cross country courses open to the public for free along with local equine organizations such as New England Equine Rescue North (NEER North), Windrush Therapeutic Riding, MSPCA Nevins Farm, and West Newbury service organizations: Police, Fire, Library, Emergency Management, and Open Space Committee .
As a non-profit organization, we are committed to keeping our exceptional facility active, continuing to improve the Pipestave Hill Equestrian Recreation Area, maintaining trails in town, and organizing other equestrian-oriented activities. We are both lucky and unique to have both riding rings and a small cross-country course on town-owned land.
