Volunteer Service Scholarship

Are you a graduating high school senior or continuing your education? 

Have you  volunteered to benefit equine activities in West Newbury? Examples:

  • volunteered at a WNRDC event 
  • performed trail clearing/maintenance
  • performed Pipestave Hill cross country course maintenance

 

If so, you are invited to apply for a $600 scholarship to be used toward any type of education. 

You do not have to be a member of the WNRDC to apply for the scholarship.

How to Apply

Submit the scholarship application (link above) that includes an essay of approximately 200 words describing what you found most interesting and educational about your volunteer work. 

Application and essay must be submitted by May 1st  in the year applying. 

Rules

  • All submissions will be read by the Scholarship Committee anonymously.  
  • The scholarship may only be won by the same person twice.
  • The scholarship winner gives permission for WNRDC to publish their essay.
